I started my journey with ma’am mid pregnancy, as an absolute beginner.
She not only made me realise my strengths (even as a mom to be) with yoga, but helped me connect better with the one growing inside me, with prayanaam. Ma’am was always a call away and solved any problem I went through, be it physical or mental! (her positivity and smile is contagious) ✨While i was carrying my bundle of joy, ma’am’s loving nature and calm demeanour made me feel safe and heard especially on the days I felt low. And oh, our conversations during sessions – Simply blissful.
But wait…
Shubhra Anand has a switch, cz, the moment I joined postpartum, she became the strict teacher I had only heard of. Nothing goes unnoticed and you can’t cheat because Ma’am catches the smallest of mistakes in aasanas even through a tiny screen! (imagine what will happen if she starts taking physical classes 😅)Her EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE and BELIEF that yog and prayanaam can cure any illness, is key. Ma’am came as a blessing in my life (when I was creating life) and now she’s an integral part of it. Can’t thank her enough for everything she’s done and doing, for me and my husband!

Like this, we begin each session—grounded, present, and ready to embrace the journey within.From the very beginning, I realized that with Shubhra Ma’am, yoga wasn’t just about asanas—it was a way of life. While there are many fitness options like gym, CrossFit, or calisthenics, after connecting with Ma’am, I knew I had found my guru—the one I wish to learn from for life. Shubhananda is not a yoga session, bit by bit it changes everything about you to turn you into the best version of yourself. It has strengthened and empowered my physically, emotionally and spiritually. I feel more aligned and comfortable in my own body. It has given me the mental strength to face problems. We were always made to hold asanas, and in the duration of those 45 seconds you understood the true strength of your willpower. Not How much can you push, but How much are you willing to push? Are you willing to break you mental restraint? As our guru always said “its all in the mind” I haven’t seen a more commendable guru. I am not able to express myself to you …. There was a time when I walked up to you it was just normally that May be with Yoga I get fit and feel better just like for other things you do like May be I do shopping and I will feel better just like that ….You saved me from a place I can’t imagine myself coming out and once I imagine I cry how dark it was all alone !! My prayers once I did are getting answer one by one… I don’t want anything from God ever because he has given me all and what he has not definitely has some reason behind . I’ve always felt drawn to Pranayama and meditation, and one thing that really stuck with me was hearing how regular practice can make whatever’s happening in the outer world bother you less. I joined Shubhananda Yoga in July 2021, and since then, I’ve noticed such positive changes in myself. I handle life’s challenges, whether personal or professional- with more optimism now, instead of stressing too much.

I joined in July 2021 and the changes that I see in myself is, now I face challenges of life – be it personal, professional with an optimism than worrying too much about it. My yoga journey started with the onset of lockdown . It was more a challenge for me who throughout her life had not been involved in any fitness routine apart from walking.I remember the first few weeks where I was almost on the verge of giving up, but the patience and dedication of Shubhra and my consistency and hardwork work paid off. After more than two years with Shubhra , I am proud to see my flexibility, boost in strength . Pain in my calf muscles and heels are things of the past.. Thank you Shubhra for all the support 💕
Today I’ve completed one month of Shubh ananda yoga ; one of the best things happened to my life . I used to enjoy yoga for so many years but this is something beyond words . My body and heart have fallen in love with these micro detailed asanas and holdings .Since I’ve started , this is the best hour of my 24 hours . I can see changes on physical level . I never used to sweat , no matter how much I do yoga or cardio but now I have started sweating and it feels soooo good . My leg / calf pain was the main issue to start this yoga and my body blesses this lovely (but so precise and strict ) yoga teacher ; every time we do leg stretching exercises. I really regret why hadn’t I started it last year only . Now it seems I’m addicted to Shubhananda yoga ; and desperately looking forward to join her pranayam class.
